I’m Kansas Helen—a queer, neurospicy Kansan with a lifelong obsession for digging into the truth. I’ve always been wired to research, question, and hunt down the "why" behind everything. Part of my neurospicyness is a deep aversion to lies and a relentless sense of justice.

I’m here to shed light on what’s really happening in Kansas—especially in state politics, Wichita, and Topeka. Some of the stories I cover never make headlines, and others do—but they’re often spun, watered down, or missing the full truth.

I always told my kids, “You can be anything you want to be—except a liar.” That pretty much sums up my mission: to speak honestly, report fearlessly, and hold power to account.
